- Seed Pool Emission Rate
The Vote on VIP 6 concluded with 62.2% Halving, 36.33% Double and 1.47% no change. The final result is Halving, indicating that Seed Pool Emission Rate will be halved to 31,500 YFV per epoch from next epoch start from 22nd Sep 2020, 14:10:00 GMT+0
2. vUSD Incentive Pool
The vote on VIP 6 concluded with 99.55% Yes and 0.45% No. The final result is Yes, indicating that vUSD Incentive Pool will be created. The schedule of vUSD Incentive Pool will be announced below.
3. Balancer Pool Restructure
The voting concluded the top 5 candidates are USDT (88.81%), COMP (87.14%), USDC (82.18%), LEND (78.49%) and SNX (71.10%)
Upon further investigation, we found out that Balancer does not allow to add pool with USDT (marking as Bad ERC20), hence we will setup 4 new Balancer pools as following:
- COMP/YFV 98/2
- USDC/YFV 98/2
- LEND/YFV 98/2
- SNX/YFV 98/2
As VIP 6 voting result, current BAL and BAT pools will be closed and there will be no new pools for BAL and BAT. After today epoch end for BAL pool at 17th Sep 2020, 14:00:00 GMT+0 and BAT pool at 17th Sep 2020, 14:37:00 GMT+0. Please exit before the deadline of 1st Oct 2020 if you are staking in BAL and/or BAT pools.
As VIP 5 voting result, the restructuring plan was approved and will be implemented. All current Balancer Pools which reward YFV will cease to get rewards after this epoch ends. To ensure smooth transition, all LPs for these pools will have time until 1st Oct 2020 to withdraw all their funds before it stops completely. Please note the following epoch end time as following
- YFI pool: current epoch end at 17th Sep 2020, 14:22:00 GMT+0
- REN pool: current epoch end at 17th Sep 2020, 16:53:00 GMT+0
- KNC pool: current epoch end at 17th Sep 2020, 17:42:00 GMT+0
- BTC pool: current epoch end at 18th Sep 2020, 14:20:00 GMT+0
- WETH pool: current epoch end at 18th Sep 2020, 15:10:00 GMT+0
- LINK pool: current epoch end at 18th Sep 2020, 16:13:00 GMT+0
The new Balancer Pools, which reward VALUE, will be launched for YFI, REN, KNC, BTC, WETH, LINK. If you are currently staking in these pools, you will have option to transfer to the new pools to farm VALUE.
The following pools will be available at block 10880930 , approximately September 17, 17:00:00 (GMT+0) and will get VALUE as farming rewards.
